Cody and Stephanie, and Tim

I
just wanted to post another blog today and bring everyone up to speed on the “kids”. I think I am getting the hang of this.

Cody and Stephanie just finished (as of yesterday) another semester at Brigham Young University. They really enjoy school there. Steph enjoys the academic stimulation and Cody enjoys the fishing at Utah Lake! For the month of May they will be staying with us. Cody will be welding with Carl Menck. He really loves that and makes a handsome sum of money to “save” for college. With every paycheck he thinks he should buy a new gun, but Steph and I won’t let him. They will be leaving for an awesome adventure to San Salvador, El Salvador at the end of May. They will be there the remainder of the summer. They will be doing humanitarian work. What a great opportunity. We are proud of them and all they are accomplishing.

Tim is in Cajamarca, Peru serving out the last 4 months of his LDS mission. We love getting his email each Monday. They are filled with amazing adventures and inspirational stories. Cajamarca is a town of about 125,00 people that is located about 5 1/5 hours from Trujillo, Peru. It is the sight of the largest gold mine in Latin America and is the second largest in the world. The town is one of the last strong holds of the Inca civilization which was taken over by Francisco Pizarro. As we are headed into spring and summer in Wyoming, Tim will be heading into fall and winter in Cajamarca. There are a lot of opportunities for missionary work in Cajamarca. Tim is very excited to be there and serve the Lord and the people of Peru.

That is so cool about Cody and Steph going to El Salvador. I called the other day and was able to talk to him on the phone. I was shocked when he answered.

Tim is too cute. He sent us that picture and we love it. Cool kid that Tim!

Hey, this is Emily. I was just blog hopping and I found yours, so I took a little peek. I hope you don't mind. It sounds like your family is doing great. Feel free to peek into my blog and see Mr. Huntsmans cutest grand daughter if you want (that would be my baby not Mark's although he begs to differ) :)!
